Killeen IHOP took food off of plate
Jul 9, 2008
IHOP complaint by Trudlebug
My family went to the Killeen, TX IHOP for brunch July 5, 2008. My brother in law ordered a meal with bacon and sausage. When we got our plates, he had a double portion of bacon, but no sausage. He was not upset, and no one made any complaint to the staff. He acutally commented that it was fine with him. Then the waiter came to the table with a plate with 2 sausage links and stated that there was a mistake, and he was to get sausage with his meal. After my BiL took the sausage off the plate and placed it on his own, the waiter held out another plate and stated "I need 2 pieces of bacon back". ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

So BiL picked up the bacon with his fingers and placed it on the clean plate held by the waiter, who walked away with it.

Where did it go? Why did they need it back?

Whenever I have gone to a restaurant, if they made this type of mistake, they just give you what was missing, and let you keep the extras. What was going on here?

So, I had to ask. Of course at that point the waiter said they threw it away. And that the cook wouldn't let him give the sausage without the bacon back. Why??? No one from our table made a complaint. The waiter offered the replacement. My BiL was fine, and would have eaten the bacon without complaint.

I am baffled........

Killeen TX huh, doesn't surprise me. Were there any white people working the place? All the food places around Killeen are ***.
