Horrible service

Me and my family of 5 went in, and we waited for about 30 minutes to get our food order taken and someone else brought food and kept switching waitresses our main server was Alexandra and could not get the other she seemed to be a manager and did not bring condiments had to ask for syrup for pancakes and only got about 4 packets of ketchup for a table of 5. We waited after eating for about 45 minutes than had to the bus girl ask for check. And then our "server" had the nerve to come back and ask if everything was ok. This bill was almost $60 and the service was horrible for something that should have taken maybe an hour took almost 2. And then we were wrong to change. And then Alexandra was not knowledgeable on prices. Then only got 2 refills and were charged full priced for 2 kids sodas. And had to ask for refills when cups were empty. People were in and out before us. And the location was not busy once so ever with about 10 people working and maybe 6 tables in total. Got there at 720pm and did not leave until 915pm had dishes piling on the table that were left unnoticed as well as other tables that had not been cleaned before we got there.

My daughter has great leadership skills, o expect her to be in Management one day! IHOP is her favorite restaurant because I purchased a gift card for my parents there. She is not always polite, she belongs in a office. Listen to this idea, some teenager menu items! Perhaps some pop idols or some teenage girl character. Or flavors. For example, pumpkin pulp and licorice syrup. Just some Halloween taste for you! We have a recipe for the menu item. Please contact me at 615 390 ****

Disrespectful customer service at a Tyler, Tx IHOP

Today I had a VERY BAD experience with an hostess named ashley. When I showed up to pick-up my to-go order, I presented my e-club offer from free pancakes, and she lied, telling me that it was dine-in only, (which is a lie), because the coupon does not say such..(WHY IN THE *** WOULD YOU FORCE A CUSTOMER TO DINE-IN WHEN COVID-19 IS IN FULLLLLLLEFFECT?????????????????????????????????

I brought to her attention that the coupon did not say such then she (lapped her eyes) and said the same thing..I then say (even though the coupon doesn't say so...) "ALSO i HAVE REDEEMED OFFERS LIKE SUCH IN THE PASS, AND THAT HAS NEVER BEEN THE CASE!) She then did the same thing (lapped her eyes). I then turn around and see about 10 pepole behind/around me, mean IHOP is not practicing social distancing, and some people did not even have mask on...SO THERE WAS NO WAY I GOING TO BE FORCED TO EAT IN AN UNPROTECTED RESTAURANT!!

I then turn around and leave. This is the wrost customer service I have ever had, and is an embarrassment to the IHOP franchise, and should be dealt with.

FRAUD/STOLE MY MONEY OFF MY DEBIT CARD - NO ORDER WAS DELIVERED

I had placed an online order for delivery as it had just snowed and I did not want to drive, this was 12/12/2020 at 11:18AM - It was placed through my boyfriends account But it was my card that I paid with!! I even used the 20% off discount since he was a new account. We never received a confirmation email about the order, but in fact my money was taken - $33.10 - I am furious that money has been taken without providing me a confirmation order. I ended up ordering from Denny's by the way- which they never did this! I contacted your manager at store #2089 on University Ave in Madison WISCONSIN. He said that he could not see anything or nothing under that order, but I had sent him a screenshot of my bank account and it clearly says s0tore #2089, he said he contacted corporate and they couldn't see anything ! So at this point i think the manager is not telling the truth, and my money has been stolen as well, whatever fraud stuff is going on I DO NOT CARE BUT I WANT MY MONEY AND I AM EXTREMELY DISGUSTED WITH THE MANAGER AS WELL AS THE RESTAURANT!!!!

I get a phone call October 31st. about 7:45 in the morning.i ask the Lady if i can call when I got up she said sure!! So I try to call her and get no answer. and she gave me her personal cell phone number.

Unhappy with food

Good evening, my name is Frank Vaccaro and earlier today (1/21) around noon I stopped in at your florissant mo location and placed a to go order for two separate orders of biscuits and gravy and emphasized I wanted extra gravy within a couple of minutes I got my order and left, when I opened the containers it looked like there was 2 tablespoons of gravy in each one and the biscuits were like rubber the extra gravy I got in a separate small container was a teaspoon at best and only having 30 minutes for lunch I didn't have time to go back, my bill was over $10 before tip....the service was great but the food was totally unacceptable Sincerely, Frank Vavccaro

First, for a company such as yours naming your complaint department The PissedConsumer is just another clarification to show that customer service in today's society has amoral standard's with no professionalism whatsoever. Your P.R. Manager should be fired and the person who signed off on this title as well. Secondly, no one from your company reached out to me (another sign that today's customer service is nonexistent to the consumer). I'm not supposed to help anyone, you're supposed to help me ignoramus. Oh I forget, young people in today's workforce are so controlled by electronics and have been brainwashed into believing that they are God's that they don't possess the tiniest bit of compassion or strive to have excellent work ethics. Help companies to improve their service, will I get paid for my input? How about you hire a qualified, intellectual with interpersonal skills to handle consumer's who received *** service from your employees. PissedConsumer?????

I haven't ordered for a while, so I received an email with a promotion, and decided to order. The order took forever to get here. The burgers and fries, chicken tenders and onion rings were cold, and my salad was warm, and the onions in the salad tasted rotten.. There was no dressing for the salad, but they did give us syrup even though we had No pancakes. No sauce for the chicken tenders... It was a disaster!!!! I have pictures of the small portions! 4 onion rings, 10 French fries....When I eat at IHOP I can barely finish my meal there is so much food, so either they skipped on the portions, or the Uber driver ate half of my meals...either way, terrible!!!! I would like a refund!!!!!! A waste of my hard earned money!!! Disappointed, Amber Lantz

Restaurant not enforcing mask wearing - including staff! 472 Crockett Trace Dr, Morristown, TN 37813

I had to pick up a gift card for a friend with limited financial means and stopped by the IHOP here in town. I saw 2 customers come in with a mask.

Everyone else (and BTW, they were sitting close together) were not wearing a mask when leaving. But what really horrified me was the staff either was not wearing a mask, just under their noses, or they had them around their necks and speaking to customers, just inches separating them from the public. I urge you to mandate an in-service at this location. I use social media a lot and have no issue with telling people to stay clear.

Our numbers are spiking. It's the south so some of these people still don't believe it's a pandemic. I work in healthcare. Needless to say, I want every protection that can be taken to be taken.

The manager seemed like a very nice man but let me reiterate, the staff needs an in-service. I did tell him that in no way should his staff be meeting the public without masks. Thank you for taking this seriously and taking action.

Guess what, they had a very difficult time with doing the gift card (approximately 20 minutes, finally there were 4 of them at the desk (with no masks covering their faces) and the manager did it but then he gave me the merchant copy. I don't see an order #.

Preferred solution: I STRONGLY encourage the staff have an in-service and realize they are endangering not only their own lives but those of patrons to their establishment and family/friends.

User's recommendation: Make sure they take this pandemic seriously before entering and for goodness sake wear a mask!

I ordered thru waitr @ 8:30 pm I got my incomplete order @ 10:45 pm just before they closed. I was told that Dominque would tell the morning manager of my complaint and theyre give me a complete order in the morning. Why would I want to wait another 8 hours to get what ordered? I have taken to social media to tell my 2k plus followers of the incompetence and have gotten many, many responses from them. I dont like waiting my money on anyone that cant get an order on the menu right so with that Ill be bringing this sorry excuse of an order back to your Lafayette la location on the thru-way C j Boudro

Unfair treatment

Hello,

I recently visited one of your locations located at:1320 University Ave. Riverside, Ca 92507, on Saturday October 24th, 2020 at about 1:30 pm.

Because thats the location on my coupon emails, I have to go to that one. There is nothing on the emails, stating that its for "dine in only", so when I go, Miguel the manager always gives me a hard time. The first couple times I sat inside, then was told I can only order plain pancakes, although the email states I can order ANY. A couple of the waitresses let me order any kind I want to, but if its a waitress, who's possibly new....she leaves to ask Miguel, and he tells her NO!

He has been doing this to me for years and it's really annoying as well as being unfairly treated. He always has to come see who it is, before he gives an excuse...almost like he's racist. I don't like to say that about anyone, but that's what it seems like. Why does he have to come see who it is first, before telling his waitress what to tell me.

His attitude was so rude and non chalant with me on Saturday, it was ridiculous. I told him he couldn't be making up rules as he goes. The email states nothing about dine in only, or that I can only get plain pancakes. He is not at all about customer service.

I had switched my location after the last incident last year, but it still hadnt changed. Could I have the anniversary and birthday coupons sent to me again, without that location on it, so I can use them.

Refund

Last Saturday I purchased my meal using the IHOP app. I went to go pick up my order, and I was told that my order did not come through. I had the correct location, but they did not have my order in their system. I was not able to get a refund through them, and I was told to contact the IHOP customer service for a refund.
