This is regarding the location at 2447 n wickham rd, on lake Washington and wickham in Melbourne Florida.
Was trying to apply work there, as I had past experience working at an iHop. After about a week of calling they said they were full .
When I spoke to a middle aged blonde lady who used to work overnights, she would tell me thats wrong they needed someone asap. So I kept following up. I can admit when Im wrong and perhaps was annoying and persistent too much, but when you are not this way- these corporate and soulless restaurants dont really take your application s seriously. Anyways, even if I was wrong for my persistence , what came next was unacceptable and no fault of my own.
I was desperately trying to find a job and calling lots of restaurants. I followed up by calling again maybe two weeks later after speaking to the lady who told me over the phone that they were needing someone. She told me she was looking to get another job ,but not to tell anyone, or something along those lines.
I called and the phone hung up on me. I swung by in person on my way home that night, as it was in route.
The server , who was always so kind to me, said wait for me outside. I was confused but I did. She came out and told me that the manager had been annoyed by me and told her to call the police if I was there again. I was left TOTALLY CONFUSED AND BEWILDERED.
The times I had gone there and eaten, I was a paying customer, and very respectful. The server was always kind to me, even gave me free fries. I always tried to tip and she would insist on rejecting it. This individual was somewhat flirty towards me on multiple occasions.
I was friendly back but always respectful and professional. When she was explaining to me that the manager said I wasnt welcome back , she said idk why they treat you this way, you are a respectful and kind, attractive young man. It was a very strange experience .
They couldve just told me politely hey please stop annoying us about the job, but you are welcome to eat here. I never did anything wrong
I was left confused for a whole month , and then I was at Applebees one day and the puzzle pieces came together.
I was walking by a booth where I saw this same individual eating with a young man. I didnt want to bother them, but I figured a friendly, professional glance/hello was appropriate . After all, she was always kind to me, pushed me to get the job, and expressed disgust with how the manager had said to keep me out of the restaurant. When she saw me she looked terrified- like if she had seen Michael Myers or Jason or something.
The guy that was with her gave me a very ugly look, and it just confused me even more. The only booth available was next to them across the hallway, so I sat down. When she saw me sitting down, she had that little weasel captain-save-a-h$e man she was with come sit next to her on the same side of her booth, like to protect her. Like if I was some monster or something.
I was confused out of my mind, so I got up to move as far from them as possible.
I had to speak to my mental health professional about the situation , to which he told me that the woman had probably lied about me, and her behavior at Applebees was to maintain the false image she and story she had spun about me, and perhaps to protect her image with iHop for pushing me to apply. God knows
BUT THE CAMERAS FROM IHOP WILL SHOW THE TRUTH THAT I WAS ALWAYS RESPECTFUL AND PROFESSIONAL WHILE I WAS THERE. This b$tch is spinning fake lies about me
Only thing I did wrong was perhaps pursue the job too relentlessly , but was never unprofessional in my interactions with this lying rat , WHO WAS ENCOURAGING ME TO PURSUE THE JOB IN THIS MANNER
This doesnt surprise me though - this type of moral deficiency coming from ihop employees. I was a model employee at another ihop in the past.
The manager was disgraceful and unprofessional in my last weeks there, after I gave 4 weeks notice that I was leaving. Previously he had offered me a recommendation for my next job, and I had never missed work, other than once for a basketball tryout. He is a corporate criminal and the staff there was unprofessional. Employees would bring abusive partners to work, ingest drugs at work, potentially deal drugs at work, and yet they treat me like I was the bad guy.
I was very professional.
And the manager from this new location is very rude for saying to call the cops on a paying customer who did nothing wrong. Weasel behavior .

On your windows, and in your adds it says kids eat Free after 4pm or at 4pm. But the server refuse honor that and made us pay for kids too after . I drove a distance and the boys wanted that.

Give me the correct change, they said that they didn't have change I asked the waitress to go see the manager. She brought my change to me.
Someone had to take the money out of their pocket. I feel the manager should have come and talked to me.
It's not the waitress's job to deal with this situation. I did not see any signs posted about no change if you pay cash.

I have never had pork in my life until yesterday because they got my order wrong. My receipt distinctively says big steak omelet.But that's not what I received.

We ordered our breakfasts and it took forever to get the food, of course. Husband said his over easy eggs had " no taste"..the sausage links ordered were some horrible version of Ekrich sausage with no flavor..service was very slow and the waitress didn't seem to care at all..we'll never go back again..Guaranteed..Don't go to IHOP at the strip in North Canton, Ohio..yuck..

Food was cold advised the manager two items were incorrectly charged she said she adjusted it we went back and talked to her she adjusted it again we got back in the car and realized we still were overcharged and never compensated for the cold food unprofessional and unacceptable.

I have to say your waitress service was soo poor I might never return we usually go on weekends n theres always a wait n long service which is fine we understand that me being a waitress myself in the pass . Put what we wont put up with is a waitress thats rude , unprofessional and *** . Like I said we went in around 3pm and waited 15 minutes before we saw someone come out of the back there was a lady mopping n we heard her say to someone you have ppl there n heard someone respond i dont care they can wait 5 min later comes a young girl saying we need to learn patience I was taken back by here comment n attitude she went to a table took orders come back after that and says well fine follow me I said is there someone else that can be our waitress and she said does it look like theres someone else I said we changed our mind thank you because by this point I was done with her attitude and didnt want her service and she said loudly so everyone in the restaurant can hear well well thats even better I said excuse what did u say n she started laughing I asked her name n she just went to the back .. if this is the kind of ppl you are hiring to be rude to long time customers then I dont want to return to your business.
Very disappointed with this kind of service with this kind of treatment . Hope u can approve your service n ask this young lady to be kind n respectful to the customers thank you .

Wow... and not in a good way unfortunately!
Go there to satisfy your curiosity maybe. One of the 2 female servers who works closing shifts, saw me walk in at around 8:30 pm when they close at 10 pm. She gave me a belittling smile while saying, "Oh god... you gotta be out of here by 9:30" and then she turned around.
I replied with, "good evening, [name]. Nice to see you too." She ignored me and kept her back facing me.
The next time I came in, she gave me crap for arriving at around 8:50 pm. She got pissed off and didn't hide it that I'm someone who could arrive between 8 and 8:30 pm and still not be walking out of there until sometime between 9:45 and 10 pm. How dare I, right?
Maybe because I order 3 dishes and eat slowly because it's more comfortable and healthier. My right.
She wanted me out by 9:30 so I couldn't possibly prevent her from leaving as early as she could. Kitchen closes at 9:30, she can cash out at 9:30 and... if there's any customers left in the place preventing her from leaving, it better not be me!

I had told her that she was acting like someone who didn't enjoy her job very much. Her response, "I love my job! You're the only one I don't like." Can totally tell that she loves her job with how quick she was to deny it and her eagerness to leave as early as the system can allow.
She called me rude and condescending and stated that I need to show more respect.
I mentioned the respect I show by proactively offering to pay before 9:30 pm so the cash out can happen ASAP. She gave an insulting whoop-dee-doo response to that. Well, I could easily have been rude and condescending towards her a few times when I was in the process of defending myself. It was retaliatory.
There's other restaurants that I frequent and I get along great with all the servers.
No other server has treated me (bullied me) like that.
Not one! Not even close.

Come to IHOP for breakfast ordered a T-bone steak with the eggs as I was eating my steak. I noticed there was a piece of hair and cooked until my steak so Ill call on my way to the table and let my way to know what was going on with my food instead of the manager, Ashely coming out speaking to me the customer She sent as the waiter back out to speak to me.
Another table across from me had a couple, but Ashely came out and talked to them. I guess maybe the color of the skin and she didnt feel like it was meant for her to come out and talk to me, but I feel like that was very rude and disrespectful Discrimination the whole night like so so hardly upset so I just dont see a manager and she said the Blac guy out to talk to us that is so unacceptable as you being a manager

I would like a refund. I waited over an hour with my 4 kids and no one was even at the restaurant.
An old couple behind my table even complained that the waitress didn't check on them and mentioned the long wait time as well. I had to go find the waitress three times to get a refill on our drinks.
