I recently visited one of your locations located at:1320 University Ave. Riverside, Ca 92507, on Saturday October 24th, 2020 at about 1:30 pm.
Because thats the location on my coupon emails, I have to go to that one. There is nothing on the emails, stating that its for "dine in only", so when I go, Miguel the manager always gives me a hard time. The first couple times I sat inside, then was told I can only order plain pancakes, although the email states I can order ANY. A couple of the waitresses let me order any kind I want to, but if its a waitress, who's possibly new....she leaves to ask Miguel, and he tells her NO!
He has been doing this to me for years and it's really annoying as well as being unfairly treated. He always has to come see who it is, before he gives an excuse...almost like he's racist. I don't like to say that about anyone, but that's what it seems like. Why does he have to come see who it is first, before telling his waitress what to tell me.
His attitude was so rude and non chalant with me on Saturday, it was ridiculous. I told him he couldn't be making up rules as he goes. The email states nothing about dine in only, or that I can only get plain pancakes. He is not at all about customer service.
I had switched my location after the last incident last year, but it still hadnt changed. Could I have the anniversary and birthday coupons sent to me again, without that location on it, so I can use them.
User's recommendation: I don't recommend this specific Ihop, thats exactly why they have a 2-star review on Yelp.
